Jennifer Skuce | Broker, Partner firstname.lastname@example.org
With more than 20 years of Ottawa marketplace experience, Jennifer knows the city like few others.
Prior to co-founding Bytown Brokers, she was President of RE/MAX metro-city realty, the largest brokerage in Eastern Ontario, boasting more than 250 agents in eight offices. She has overseen thousands of transactions, billions of dollars in sales, and cultivated an unparalleled professional network in Canada and the United States. She has bought and sold investment properties, renovated homes of all ages, managed significant commercial renovations, and collaborated with architects, drafters, builders, and city planners.
Jennifer has a well-deserved reputation among colleagues and clients for hard work, integrity, and professionalism. She takes the time to understand her clients’ needs and will search tirelessly and negotiate skillfully to find them a house they can call home, treating each deal as if it were her own. Her loyal clients know to expect sound advice, a high level of customer service, and smooth transactions.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Jennifer and her husband are thrilled to be raising their two daughters in the city, spending summers at a nearby cottage in Quebec, and winters on the local ski hills. A fan of travel adventures with her family, Jennifer also loves exploring Ottawa’s thriving food and music scene. Jennifer is a graduate of Queen’s University where she played on the national champion varsity soccer team, tended bar, led a student mission to Guyana and, you guessed it, bought her first home. She’d love to help you with your next move.
Andy Morrisey | Broker, Partner email@example.com
Andy spent the past 12 years building a terrific business the old fashioned way – through relationships. It’s in his DNA. Born in Ottawa to diplomats, Andy’s family enjoyed postings in New Delhi, Geneva, and Washington DC before returning to Canada. He has parlayed a degree in Finance from Algonquin College and a BBA in Management from Bishops University into a thriving real estate practice.
Laid back and approachable, it’s no surprise that most of Andy’s clients come from word of mouth. His low-key approach puts clients at ease, and creates a stress-free experience that’s made Andy one of the top producers in the city. He is also an award-winning real estate developer, taking home the city’s prize for best infill development in 2008. His in-depth understanding of design and build has been a huge boon to clients as they prepare for their own renovations.
Andy lives in downtown Ottawa in the house he built for his wife, a general surgeon, and their two young boys. Outside of work, Andy has found success on the Ultimate pitch as a member of three national championship teams and represented Canada at the World Championships in Finland. In winter he laces up at the local shinny rinks, and ski tours in the Gatineau hills whenever the snow flies.
Lisa Odin | Director of Operations firstname.lastname@example.org
Lisa oversees the day-to-day activities of Bytown Brokers. She keeps the beat, books appointments, finalizes transactions, solves problems, and makes sure our website and social feeds are garden fresh. In addition to managing the back of the house, Lisa is our resident artist. She sketched the Bytown Broker logo and puts the shine on all of our marketing. With ten years in graphic design and art direction and five more in real estate marketing and administration, Lisa brings a lot to the table – freeing our broker team to do what they do best. And as you would expect from an east-coaster (New Brunswick via PEI), she does it all with good humour and grace. When not keeping the beat at Bytown, she’s doing at home in Barrhaven, mom to a toddler and step-mom to an 11-year-old. Music, arts and crafts, and cooking feed her inspiration.
